The Lincoln Community Larder is a registered charity which aims to relieve poverty in the Lincoln area through the provision of basic nutritious food and other basic amenities to those in need of short term help. We don't think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry, so we have been providing emergency food and support to local people for over 35 years.
The Larder is managed and run entirely by local volunteers and relies entirely on the generous support of our local community. Please click on one of the boxes below for further information on how to help or to receive help.
How to help
Nobody should have to choose between heating and eating but you can help make sure that no one has to by donating food or by making a financial donation or just spreading the word.
We always need people to help with fundraising; picking up donations; helping with supermarket collections; packing away donations and many other behind the scenes tasks to help keep us stocked up to help local people in need.
If you are thinking of donating food or organising a food collection, maybe at your place of work, the list on the left is the sort of thing that is most useful to us in stocking our warehouse and saves enormously on our weekly supermarket bill.
